Janet N. Jones RN, age 80, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away on June 17, 2018 after a brief battle with Breast Cancer. Janet was born in Berkley, NJ and grew up in the shore town of Seaside Heights, NJ. She was a graduate of Toms River High School and was a proud graduate of Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing. Upon graduation of Nursing School, she entered the Unites States Army as a 2 ^nd Lieutenant in the Army Nurses Corps. The highlight of her military Career was being stationed in Berlin, Germany. She was honorably discharged in May 1963 with her pregnancy of her first child. Janet loved Nursing and practiced in many different areas in her 50  year career. Family and friends will remember her sense of humor and her easy laugh. She loved to travel, especially cruising. She instilled this sense of adventure and independence in to her children.

Janet is survived by her brother, Duffy Wilbert (Vicki), loving children, Norman L. Welch Jr. and Laura B. Reynolds (Kevin), adored grandchildren Jack and Bailey Reynolds and beloved nephew and nieces. Janet loved taking her grandchildren on adventures and following all of their sports activities and school accomplishments, never failing to tell them how proud of them she was.
