Obituary

Janice Weinstein was a woman who loved life, art, music, travel, & most of all, her family.

Janice was born in London, England on June 15, 1948 to George & Vera Cook. She began working in travel in the 1960's. First at Cosmos Tours where she enjoyed the ability to take quick trips around Europe. Next at TWA as a stewardess where she was selected as "Miss TWA" & presented a teapot to the Boston mayor in celebration of the inauguration of the new LHR (London Heathrow)-BOS (Boston) flight service. Janice moved to the U.S. in 1974 where she started a family & later would return to working in travel in the crew scheduling department at Pan Am airlines. During this time she also enjoyed making art in a variety of forms, from paintings & pastels, to creating greeting cards & customized gifts, participating in art shows, & eventually starting a small business with Larry designing clever shirts & aprons.

Janice will be remembered fondly for her incredible artistic talent, her quick wit, her love of singing & dancing, & the incredible warmth & kindness that she shared with everyone around her. She is survived by her husband Larry, sister Pauline, daughters Kate & Sue, sons-in-law Gabe & Jeremy, & grandsons Dylan, Logan, Jude, & Griffin.
