Jason Nathaniel Peters, age 38 of Boynton Beach, FL passed from this earth on December 24, 2011. Born in Little Rock, AR on May 6, 1973, he grew up and traveled the country with his family. Eventually he traveled to Germany and saw much of Europe while stationed in the Army. Jason met Debbie, his Oklahoma rodeo queen and love of his life in February 2001 in Fort Smith, AR. After a wonderful fun-filled year of dating, they married on August 10, 2002 in beautiful Eureka Springs, AR. In 2003, they moved to West Palm Beach, FL where Jason pursued his passion for cooking at the Florida Culinary Institute. He graduated in 2005 and became executive chef of Atrio restaurant in West Palm Beach. In 2007, he joined Sysco to "sling green beans" and learn the business side of being a chef. He was with Sysco for 4 ½ years and achieved Torchbearer, the highest award for sales, in 2010. His bright shining light faded on Christmas Eve morning when he went home to be with the Lord. Jason loved to cook, BBQ with friends and fish as much as he could. He lived life to the fullest and loved every minute of it.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Debbie Peters of Boynton Beach, FL; his father, Larry Peters and wife Peggy of Lavaca, AR; his brother John Peters and wife Dawn of Van Buren, AR; his sister Lori Dean and husband, Tim of Herndon, VA; his grandparents Troy and Mary Peters of Alma AR and Charles and Betty Patterson of Cabot, AR; two nephews, Crichton Dean and Ethan Peters; two nieces, Madison Dean and Ashtin Peters; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and friends who became his family.
Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanie Peters.
A visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Tuesday, December 27, 2011 with a Funeral Service 2pm Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL.
