Jeanne Milewski, age 79, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away on April 19, 2026. Jeanne was born on February 5, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts to Thomas and Helen Owen.

Jeanne attended Jeanne d'Arc Academy and the Art Institute of Boston. Throughout her life, Jeanne worked as a graphic artist and photo editor, first in Boston and later for the National Enquirer in Lantana. Jeanne was also employed at Manor Care in Boynton Beach, where she developed arts and crafts activities. She was known for her artistic flare, attention to detail, love for people and joy for life.

Jeanne expressed her love of art in many forms. She especially enjoyed volunteering as a teacher’s aid, sharing her passion for arts and crafts with elementary school children. Jeanne crocheted hundreds of “blankets of love.” She not only created blankets for friends and loved ones, Jeanne also donated her blankets to hospitals and nursing homes.

Like her parents before her, Jeanne was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Jeanne’s spiritual life was deeply important to her. She regularly attended daily mass and the 8:30 Sunday morning mass.

Jeanne was blessed to have exceptional friends who celebrated the good times with her and helped guide her through the tough times.

Jeanne is survived by her brothers Richard, Donald and Thomas Owen. She adored her role as favorite aunt to niece Cathy and nephew Thomas.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Helen Owen, and her brother Jimmy Owen.

A funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 27, 2026, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Boynton Beach. The service will be live-streamed through St. Thomas More. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
