Jo Ann (Scholze) Reynolds-Hufner, originally from Sarasota, Florida, passed from this life on June 19, 2026.

Jo, as she was known by family and friends, was employed by the School District of Palm Beach Co. for 30 yrs. (1968–1998). She was a teacher, dean, assistant principal and served the school district as a principal for 15 yrs. Her principalships included: Palm Beach Public, founding principal of Wellington Landings Middle School, and finally, The Adult Education Center. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church.

Jo is survived by her son, James Burton (Buddy) Reynolds, and grandson Luke Reynolds.She was predeceased by her daughter Jamie Jo Reynolds. Step-granddaughter Elliese (Marc) Keith and great-grandson Kerry, brother Frank Scholze (Elizabeth), and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.(Ed). Jo was predeceased by husband Lt. Frederick G. Hufner, USN ret.
