CARLSON, Joan Van Name,

Age 85, of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away February 28, 2018. She was born August 10, 1932 to the late Fredrick and Mary Ethel Kreutzer. Joan worked for many years at Lederle Laboratories (Pfizer) in Pearl River, NY. She was a member of the Elks, Eagles, VFW, American Legion, Moose, and Red Hat. Joan is survived by her husband Bruce Carlson; her daughter Debbie Black and husband Gerald of Dunkin, OK, daughter Gina Jensen of Pearl River, NY; step-daughter Sheri Carlson Baucom and husband Chris; step-son Matthew Carlson; grandchildren Tara and husband Danny Quinn of Tappen, NY, Michael Jensen of Pearl River, NY, Celina Verderosa of Lantana, FL, Isabella Baucom of Indian Mound, TN, and Anthony Verderora of NJ; one great-granddaughter Hayley Quinn of Tappen, NY, and another great-granddaughter due in June, 2018. She also has a nephew, Robert Crocker of Salem, NH. There will be a visitation 2:00 – 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at BOYNTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 800 West Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org .
