JoAnn Kirkpatrick, 78, of Delray Beach, FL, formerly of Indianapolis and Decatur, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008. She had been in transportation for 50 years, and was loved by many friends and co-workers. JoAnn is survived by her loving husband George A. Kirkpatrick; daughters Sharon Ricketts of Huntsville, AL and Jacquelyn Tarver of Deerfield Beach, FL; granddaughters Tina Kemnitz of Decatur, IL and Jennifer James of Mims, FL; and six great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends for a memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 10:00am at 218 NW 17th Street, Delray Beach, FL 33444. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
