ZUCCALA, JoAnn,
age 53, of Boynton Beach, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 and is now at peace with Our Lord. JoAnn was a loyal friend, always incredibly generous, and beautiful inside and out. She loved to laugh and her laughter was contagious. She was loved by all that had the opportunity to know her. A full-blood Italian, JoAnn was an amazing cook and enjoyed having all of her family and friends together for dinner and to celebrate the holidays.
JoAnn was born in Rochester, NY as one of three children, to Antoinette and Louis Ciavarro. She was a devoted wife to Lawrence "Drew" Zuccala and a loving mother to two beautiful girls, Lindsey and Lacey Zuccala, as well as her stepsons, John and Daniel Zuccala.
JoAnn was a graduate of Nazareth College in Rochester, NY with a degree in accounting. She ran the family business, Zuccala Wrecker Service, as comptroller and director of operations for 25 years.
She is survived by her mother, children and husband; her brother, Jamie Ciavarro; and Johnny Ciavarro and his wife, Linda. She is preceded in death by her beloved father and stepson, John. May they all be at peace in heaven and may Jesus and our Blessed Mother be at their sides.
JoAnn was truly loved and will be deeply missed.
Visitation and funeral services will take place on Friday, September 2nd beginning at 6 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church, 2599 North Swinton Ave., Delray Beach.
