John Edward Bardes, 68, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away, Thursday, July 9, 2020.

A Catholic mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 11, 2020 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 6090 Hypoluxo Rd. Lake Worth, FL 33463. The burial will follow soon after at Our Queen of Peace Cemetery.

John was born February 14, 1952 in New York, New York to John and Joan (Quinn). He graduated from Chaminade Catholic High School in 1970 and from Adelphi University of New York in 1975. On February 14, 1976, he married the love of his life Mary Ann Bardes in Glen Cove, NY. John was employed as a life insurance business owner for 30 years. He enjoyed reading old detective novels, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his children and grandchild whenever he could. He was also active in his local Catholic Church for his entire life.

John is survived by his two sons, Sean and Patrick Bardes, his wife Mary Ann Bardes, of Boynton Beach, FL, Daughter in-law Jennifer Bardes, Grandchild Mason Bardes (joy of his life), his sisters Lisa (Vomero), Margaret (Rochford), and Joan (Pisciotta), along with several nieces and nephews.
