Lazzara, John P., age 97, of Boynton Beach, died Thursday afternoon, May 9, 2013. He was a resident here for the last 34 years coming from Belleville, NJ. Mr. Lazzara was a past Grand Knight of the St. Mark Council No. 12414, Boynton Beach, and a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. He was preceded in death by his wife Palma in 2012, and is survived by his son Dr. Richard J. (Rita) Lazzara of Palm Beach; four grandchildren Justin (Kyra) Lazzara of West Palm Beach, Christopher (Jennifer) Lazzara of Palm Beach, Jessica M, Lazzara of West Palm Beach, and Michael J. Lazzara of Palm Beach; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Monday, May 13, 2013, at St. Mark Catholic Church, Boynton Beach with the Rev. Richard Florek, Pastor, as celebrant.
