John Vincent Moynihan

Age 86 of Boynton Beach died November 11, 2013. He had lived in this area for 12 years coming from Pearl River, NY. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII then worked for New York Telephone (Verizon) for over 40 years. John had been a member of the Bronx Archer Boys and the B.P.O. Elks Pompano Beach Lodge No. 1898.
He is survived by his wife Jacqueline P. Moynihan; five daughters, Patricia (Willard) Nicolaisen of Greensboro, NC, Christine (Randall) Smith of Parkville, MO, Patricia (Jurg) Braunschweiler of Zurich, Switzerland, Nancy Ellen (Robert) Shepard of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Kathleen Sarah (Robert) Lang of Marietta, GA; six grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Marie Kitchenman of Pearl River, NY.
A Visitation will be held from 3pm to 7pm with a Prayer Service at 4pm Monday, November 18, 2013 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach with the Rev. Julian P. Harris, Pastor as celebrant.
