IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John "Jack"
Mulholland
March 20, 1942 – January 27, 2024
John Howard Mulholland "Jack" of Boynton Beach left his earthly home for his heavenly one on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 after a year-long battle with cancer that he bravely fought. He was born in Waterbury, CT on March 20th, 1942 to Mary Howard Mulholland and Archibald Miller Mulholland. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School (Class of 1960) and Quinnipiac University. He was affectionately called Jackie, Dad, Papa and pizza boy.
He was a passionate baseball fan, always cheering for the Boston Red Sox. He attended his first game at six months old. He also loved the University of Florida Gators football and basketball teams. He will be remembered for his love of playing tennis, sitting by the pool with his friends, enjoying chocolate chip cookies and drinking hot tea. He was larger than life and would talk to everyone and be their new best friend.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Beth Grannell Mulholland, daughters Gretchen Pastore (Joel), Meghan Pogodzienski (Michael), Maureen Morris (Alan Rhodes) and Kathleen Johnson (Russ), grandchildren Colin (Rachel), Drew, Katie, Kathryn, Matthew, Allie, Kaylee and Charlotte, sister Kathleen Mulholland Picard (Ron), siblings-in-law Kathy Kihanya and Andy Grannell, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
His only wish was when he was gone for people to say he was "a good guy". His family kindly requests in lieu of flowers, please donate to his favorite charity St. Jude Children's Hospital
