John E. Soltesz, 75, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Fairfield County, CT, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 21, 2008 with his loving wife by his side. John was a graduate of Roger Ludlow High School. He is a US Navy veteran, having served a tour of Korea on the USS Bennington and USS Lake Champlain. He also received three medals; a Good Conduct Medal, Navy Occupational Service Medal (European Clasp), and the National Defense Medal. He was an employee of Harvey Hubbell for over 35 years, and was a volunteer with the Monroe EMS for 14 years. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Irene, brother Richard, and sister Audrey Patricia. John is the beloved husband of 50 years of Lucille; father of John Michael (Lori) Soltesz, Cynthia Soltesz, and William Soltesz; grandfather of Kristin, John Alexander, Samantha, and Zachary; brother in law of Sandra Soltesz, Barbara Zanesky, Dolly Zanesky, Richard Zanesky, and Ronald Wain; and is the uncle of many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2008 from 6-8pm at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach, FL 33426.
