Joseph "Joe" Deptula, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. Joe was born May 27, 1928 in Erie, Pa to the late Joseph Deptula and Margaret (Cupak) Deptula. After high school, Joe served in the US Army/Air Force and later graduated from Gannon College, Erie, PA.

Joe, worked at, owned, and operated, Western Trail Auto, in Miami, Florida for over 27 years. Western Trail Auto was an icon in the West Miami area as a trademark full service automotive center. He eventually sold the business and finished his work career at Ryder Corporation in Miami, Fl.

Joe is survived by his wife of 62 years, Geraldine (Gasparini) Deptula of Port Chester, NY. Together they raised 3 sons, Jeff (Cristina) of Stuart, Fl, David (Libia) of Boynton Beach, Fl, and Thomas (Kelly) Deptula of Boca Raton, Fl.

He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Christopher Deptula, Chris Deptula, Ashley Miranda (Jason), Samantha Deptula, Taylor Deptula, Joseph Deptula, Brent Deptula, Ryan Deptula, and Aubrey Deptula and 2 great grandchildren, Kairi Rose Miranda and Keliani Alia Deptula Zayas.  Joe is also survived by his sister, Florence (Gerald/deceased) Daub. Also survived by 2 great grand dogs Mario and Nala.

A memorial will be conducted from 5:00 PM – 8:00PM, Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the
