Joseph Richard Tramontana, 97, peacefully passed away Saturday morning, April 7, 2018. He was born in Lower Manhattan on January 12, 1921. He enjoyed a long and distinguished career as a mechanical engineer, working on projects around the world. He and his wife Koidu settled in Demarest, New Jersey where they raised two sons, James and Christopher. Shortly after her passing, he moved to Boynton Beach Florida.

Joseph is survived by his companion Louise Santos of Boynton Beach FL, his son Christopher of Mesa AZ, and by his eldest son James and his wife Suzanne of Leonia NJ and their two sons Joseph and James. Visitation will be held at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 West Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach FL on Tuesday, April 17 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday April 18 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10935 South Military Trail
