IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judy
Hines
March 17, 1939 – April 16, 2025
Judith Patricia Hines, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on April 16, 2025, surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Born on March 17, 1939, in Union City, New Jersey, to Henry Pini and Angelina Chase, Judith was a proud and spirited woman who cherished her Italian heritage. Raised with strong values of community, family, and kindness, she spent her life embodying these principles through her many roles. She was the loving mother of Jonathan Thomas Hines (JT) and Steven Christopher Hines, and the proud grandmother of Jonathan Thomas Hines II and Connor John Hines. Judith's family was her heart, and she delighted in watching them grow and thrive.
Judith lived a life full of passion and dedication, having made her home in various places, including East Rutherford, New Jersey, Colonial Heights, Virginia, and Boca Raton, Florida. She enjoyed a successful career, working as an administrative buyer for U.S. Steel, and later helping to run Hines Heating and Air Conditioning with her late husband, John Howard Hines Sr. Her commitment to her work and family was unwavering, and she created a legacy of love, hard work, and integrity.
Known for her boundless energy and generosity, Judith was a cherished member of her community. She was actively involved in local clubs, particularly the Women's Club, and was known for her selfless contributions. Whether it was feeding people, talking to those in need, or lending a helping hand, Judith's compassion knew no bounds. Her outgoing nature made her a friend to many, and her craftiness and independence made her a source of inspiration to those who knew her. Judith truly lived the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, a day she celebrated with joy, and her infectious warmth made every holiday, especially Christmas, a time of great meaning in her home.
Judith was predeceased by her beloved brother, Thomas Pini, and his wife, Ellen Pini, who shared the same birthday as Judith, a special bond that will always be remembered. Judith's love for family, photos, and family albums kept her connected to the memories of those she loved and lost. She was always willing to help those less fortunate, and her heart was as large as her many talents.
She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and compassion that will live on through her children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her beautiful spirit will be missed, but her memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who were touched by her love.
Judith Patricia Hines lived a life full of love, laughter, and service to others. May she rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in knowing that she lived a life well-lived, one filled with purpose, joy, and unending love
