Kevin R. Cleary, 80, passed from this life on September 15, 2019. He was born in Brooklyn, NY one of three sons born to Maurice and Anne Cleary.
After a long career with IBM that involved various assignments and locations, the last being in Boca Raton, FL, he earned a Master of Arts in Theology at St. Vincent de Paul Seminary in Boynton Beach, FL. This led to a second career teaching religion at Pope John Paul II High School. In his later years he took several leadership positions at local churches. First, he served at St. Jude in Boca Raton and more recently at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Delray Beach.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Louise. Additionally, he is survived by three sons, Brian, Matthew, David and three daughters-in-law, Valerie, Heather, and Lisa, who can only be described as beautiful gifts from God for they have truly blessed Kevin's life. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Kevin, Michael, Kaelin, Jacob, Adam, Christopher, Sydney, Ronin, and Declan as well as two brothers and their wives, Neil (Claire) and Gene (Joan) and six nieces and a nephew.

A wake will be held on Thursday, September 19 from 4:00-7:00 PM with a Wake Service beginning at 6:30 pm, at Boynton Beach Memorial Chapel, 800 West Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach, FL 33426.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Delray Beach, FL on Friday, September 20 at 10:30 AM with a reception to follow in Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mission Medical Center, Our Lady Queen of Peace, 9600 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33446 or to a charity of your choice.

Additionally, a mass will be held at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Leesburg, VA on Friday, October 4 at 11:00 AM followed by burial in the St. John the Apostle Parish Cemetery.
