Mr. Mannes, age 72, of Boynton Beach, FL, died Thursday afternoon, September 24, 2009, in the caring hands of Hospice of Palm Beach County and his loving family. He had been a resident for the past nine years coming from Somerset, MA.
Mr. Mannes is survived by his wife, Colette I. Mannes of Boynton Beach; his son Kevin D. (Paula) Mannes of Lake Worth; his daughter Lynn A. (Douglas) Sabra of Boynton Beach; his brother Leon Mannes of Detroit, MI; his sister Kay Cancannon of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach, with interment to follow at the South Florida VA National Cemetery.
A Wake Service will be held 7:30 PM Tuesday at BOYNTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 800 West Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Tuesday.
