Leonard J. Morro
Mr. Morro, 63, of Boynton Beach, died Friday evening, February 18, 2011. He had been a resident here for the last 12 years coming from Montvale, NJ. Lenny was a PGK of Trinity Council 4839 Knights of Columbus, PFN of Loyola Assembly 2003, FDD of District 55 and an active parishioner at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force, volunteered with the Broward County Meals on Wheels program and visited Heartland Nursing Home weekly.
Survivors include his wife Marty L. Reilly; his son Christopher R. Morro of Chestnut Ridge, NY; and his sister Sasha Jackson of Stuart, FL.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am, Thursday, February 24, 2011 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, with the Rev. Julian Harris, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach, with a Prayer service at 7:30 PM. Those who wish may make donations to: Ralph H. Hruban, M.D., The Sol Goldman Pancreatic Cancer Research Institute, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, 401 N.
