Leota Sutton Bowman Decker
Passed away on July 28, 2015 in West Palm Beach FL. Born March 18, 1918 in Bunker Hill, IN to John W. Sutton and Barbara Ellen Mast Sutton.
She was the last to pass of 10 children.
In 1937 Leota married Denny Bowman of Kokomo, they had three children,
Dendra Jo Sagarsee, Kokomo, Treena Janay (Gary) Nordmark, FL and Roger Kent (Dana) Bowman, Tipton. The Grandchildren are Roy Sprinkle of FL. Gina Traylor, Donavan Richardson, Jamie (Chad) Bowlin, Misty Deiter, Shannon Shively of Kokomo. Heidi (Mike) McCready, Sarah (Bill) Hamilton, Jennifer Tilton of Dayton Ohio. Michelle Mann, deceased. Byron (Chris) LeBouef of Indianapolis and Spencer LeBouef of Washington DC. Alicia Nordmark and Eric Nordmark of North Carolina. 34 GREAT Grandchildren who she loved dearly.
She and Denny were original members of the Flying Comets Motorcycle club. They rode their Harleys to every state in the union. They loved to sing and dance. She worked several places in Kokomo retiring from Delco in 1980 after 20 years. She belonged to Loree Brethern Church, Eagles Lodge, UAW 292, Del-Ray and Hobby Club.
Leota married Frank Decker II who had five children. Frank Decker III, Debbie Decker, Pam Duddles, Cindy Hill, Freda Sylvester (deceased).They have 8 grandchildren.
She was the BEST GRANDMOTHER AND AUNT EVER. Always doing a little something extra for everyone. We will be celebrating her life August 8, 2015 at 1510 S. Market St. Banquet hall from 4 PM to 8 PM. Kokomo, IN.
