IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lillian
Norton
October 28, 1933 – January 14, 2020
Lillian Gloria Norton (Rizzuto) – loving wife, mother, grandmother and great friend to many – passed away suddenly at home on January 14th at the age of 86. Lillian will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Joseph and their children, Michael (Carol), Patrick (Valerie), Catherine (Javier) and William (Ann Marie). Lillian will also be fondly remembered by her six grandchildren, Julia Katie, Julia Ashley, Desi, Hunter, Brooke and Travis. Lillian is pre-deceased by her parents Charles and Catherine, and her siblings Salvatore, Florence, and Charles, Jr. She will also be forever remembered by her beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Lillian loved her native New York, the 46 years she spent living in New Jersey, and her new home in Boynton Beach, Florida. Lillian graduated from Julia Richman High School in NYC and afterwards worked at Haloid Xerox in New York. She was an excellent bowler and cooked the best eggplant parmigiana. During her years in New Jersey, Lillian worked at the New Jersey Unemployment Office and volunteered at Riverview Hospital in Red Bank. Lillian loved playing bingo and taking trips to Atlantic City with her friends and family. She was also strong in her Catholic faith. She also enjoyed making ceramics for her kids and grandchildren. For 2 years, while Lillian was living in Whiting at Crestwood Village 5, she served as President of the Women's Club. In her short time in Boynton Beach, Florida, Lillian touched many lives at Discovery Village with her uplifting smile and compliments to all that she came in contact with. Lillian would always go out of her way to greet people and put others first, but most of all, she loved being around family. Also, who can forget those Momism's. For those who wish to honor Lillian's memory, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, a charity she held dear to her heart.
