An "angel walking on earth" passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family who adored and cherished him. Lolo was born in Puerto Rico on July 31, 1932 and came to the states at the age of 16. He was a soft spoken man with a gentle and kind soul who taught his family the values of working hard and living life with high integrity. He was a man who lived his life devoted to the love of his life, his wife of 59 years, Carmen Martis; his daughters Carmen Lopez, and Miriam (Midian) Diaz; son, Nelson Martis; granddaughters Elissa Martis, Ileana (Joshua) Wolfort and grandson Ricky Martis. A viewing will he held from 5-8 pm on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W Boynton Beach Blvd Boynton Beach. A funeral Mass celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday November 24, 2015 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 9600 W Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach Fl at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at Palm Beach Memorial 3691 Seacrest Blvd. Lantana.
