Age 98, a longtime resident of Boynton Beach, FL originally from Cleveland, OH passed away on Friday, May 27, 2011. He was the loving husband for 65 years to Christine who preceded him in death in 2004. He was an active member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church for many years where he proudly served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a Catholic service leader at assisted living for over 15 years. He had a long and respected career with General Motors in Cleveland, OH where he was the General Superintendent of the Tool and Die Department. Loving father to his daughters Gayle Pastor (Jerry) of Bedford, OH and Boynton Beach, FL and Cynthia Pebbles (Ed Kostik) of Middletown, DE. Grandfather of Christine Cunningham, Eric Allman, Monica Pebbles and Bridget Kessler and great-grandfather to Devon and Jadon Cunningham; Falyn and Jase Kessler.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday June 2, 2011 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at the Boynton Beach Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 West Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army or to St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
