IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mafalda
Ferazzoli
June 29, 1942 – November 7, 2025
Our beloved mother, Mafalda Buttarazzi Ferazzoli, went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2025 at the age of 83. She is now reunited once again with her devoted husband, Loreto, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her four children: Loreto Ferazzoli Jr. (Diane), Diana DeSantis (Lino), Liliana Richardson (Robert), and Adriana Ferazzoli. She was also an adored Nonna of twelve grandchildren and Bisnonna of seven great grandchildren.
Mafalda was born in Chiamari, Italy on June 29, 1942 to Ida Paglia and Giacomo Buttarazzi. She lived in Italy with her five siblings (Carmine, Renato, Gino, Anna, and Michael) until 1956, when her family moved to Jamaica Queens, New York.
On October 21, 1961, she married her one and only love, Loreto. In 1975, they moved to Boynton Beach, Florida where they continued to raise their family.
Mafalda's happiest moments were caring for her family and spending time in the kitchen sharing her love of cooking with everyone. Family could always count on a fresh basket of her homemade zeppolis at every event.
Zizi Muffy's house was always open and waiting for hungry visitors to feed.
Her sweet smile and warm heart is forever etched on the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She will be missed beyond measure.
Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, November 12 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 13 at 11:00 am at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 St. Mark Place, Boynton Beach. Entombment to follow at Boynton Beach Memorial Park, 1611 S. Seacrest Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may consider donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Mafalda's memory.
