Marciano Gonzalez went to his eternal home on January 29, 2022 to join his beloved wife of 48 years, Ana Gonzalez.  Born on March 3, 1943 in Moca, Puerto Rico to Evarista and Jacinto Gonzalez.  Marciano was one of five children.  He spent much of his life in New York and Connecticut before spending the remaining 25 years of his life in Florida.  Marciano held strong to his Catholic faith and was a member of the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Delray Beach.

Marciano was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, survived by his son Mario, wife Emily, grandchildren Giselle and Anthony, great grandchildren Daniel, Gabriel and Genasis; daughter Maribel, husband Luis, grandchildren Julio and Anita, great grandchildren Liliana, Evan and Stella; daughter Marisol, husband Javier, grandchildren Christina and Angelina; daughter Mayra, husband Christopher, grandson Emanuel.  Brother to Maria and Beatrice and was preceded in death by his brother Esteban and sister Adelina.  He was cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Marciano was an amazing man who will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his laughter, his work ethic and devotion to his family.  He lived his life as an example to others, full of joy, love and his faith.  He was creative and self-taught in carpentry, electrical and plumbing of which he used to help others.  Marciano enjoyed fishing, listening to music, playing Dominos, traveling and celebrating with his family.  He developed friendships and was admired by many in his community.

A celebration of life will be held on the 3 rd of February from 6:00-8:00 pm at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 West Boynton Beach Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33426. A mass will be held in his honor on the 4 th of February at 11:00 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 9600 W Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33446.  A burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery.
