Margaret Ann Hughes, also known as Mags, passed away on February 8, 2024, in Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, Florida. She was born on September 20, 1959, in Queens, New York, to Eileen and Anthony McNamara (predeceased). Margaret was an amazingly giving, loving and caring person, known for her big heart and kind nature.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Brian Hughes, they shared 40 wonderful years of marriage and two amazing sons, Daniel Hughes and Timothy (Samantha) Hughes. She is survived by her mother, Eileen McNamara, her siblings Maureen (Mickey) Boland, Deirdre (Mark, predeceased) Scott, Jim (Dawn) McNamara and John (Angie) McNamara and many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who were as close as family.

Margaret enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, and was a passionate fan of New York sports, particularly the Mets and Jets. She also had an amazing talent for ceramics, which she pursued as a hobby.

A viewing will be held at Boynton Memorial Chapel, located at 800 West Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach, FL 33426, on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 1 - 3pm and 5 - 7pm.

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 10am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, located at 10935 S Military Trail, Boynton Beach, FL 33436.
