Marian Day Warren of Boynton Beach, died January 19, 2013. She was born October 22, 1923 in Grand Rapids, MI where she graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1941. She attended Earlham College in Richmond, IN and Aquinas College, Conservatory of Music in Chicago, IL. Marian taught school in Grand Rapids, MI and played the piano professionally in many U.S. cities in the northeast. She moved to Florida in 1960 and played the organ for First Presbyterian Church of Boynton Beach and became the music director at Briny Breezes in 1971 where she played the organ and piano for 30 years. Marian also worked in real estate in Delray Beach for several years.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Warren and is survived by her sister, Lois Jean Morrow of Boynton Beach; Lois's children; and many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:30pm Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach. A visitation will be held Thursday from 12:30pm until the time of service. Those who wish may make contributions to the church or charity of their choice in her memory.
