Marion B. Carpentier, of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2021 after a well-lived 91 years.  Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on December 12, 1929, Marion grew up on her family's dairy farm in Freedom Plains, NY.  Marion met her husband Vincent in spring 1949, and they were married on March 24, 1951.  They moved to Long Island after marriage, lived in South Jersey while raising their daughter and retired to Boynton Beach in spring 1997.

Marion was an outgoing, energetic, strong-willed woman who was an avid baker and reader, enjoyed entertaining, traveling, volunteering, keeping in touch with family and friends and being everyone's favorite Mom.  Bringing her signature baked goods to someone's home or office or to an event was something that Marion enjoyed doing throughout her life, and her daughter has continued that tradition.

A socially-distanced Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Boynton Beach on March 24, 2021 at 11:00AM.  Arrangements handled by Boynton Memorial Chapel.  Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ, will be on Saturday, August 28, 2021.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Marion's memory to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or to the Dutchess County Agricultural Society, Scholarship Program, Post Office Box 389, Rhinebeck, NY  12572.

Marion is survived locally by her daughter Stacy, two sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews and cousins in New York and New Jersey, many beloved friends all over the country and wonderful neighbors.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
