Martin "Douglas" Dunleavy, age 86, a native of Carrowleambeg, Killasser, Co. Mayo, Ireland,
and longtime resident of the Bronx & Peekskill, New York passed away peacefully on
November 12, 2025. A fan of NY baseball and he looked forward to the Irish games with his
buddies on a Sunday afternoon.  Upon retirement, he relocated to Boynton Beach, Florida.
Douglas was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Dunleavy (née McGarry).
He is survived by his sister Mary Kelly (the late Norman), and was preceded in death by his
brothers Kevin (the late Mary), Stephen (Una), and John. He will be sadly missed by his
many nieces and nephews, to whom he was a wonderful uncle.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at
Boynton Memorial Chapel. Interment will take place at Boynton Beach Memorial Park at
a future date.
