Mary Jacob Pelikan of Lake Worth, Florida was 78 years old when she passed
away peacefully listening to "Country Roads" by John Denver on February 20,
2023. She was born Leslie Jane Boodell to Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Boodell
in Evanston, Illinois on September 28, 1944.
She is survived by her faithful husband, John, of 41 years; a daughter, Dorothy (Martin)
Mallona born August 5, 1968, and Jacinta Pelikan born September 26, 1984, and her brother, Thomas J. (Beata) Boodell. She
