Age 98 of Delray Beach, FL joined her family on November 21, 2012. She was the widow of Michael C. Rogers. Born in Hartford September 22, 1914, she was the daughter of Antonio and Rachele (Pericotti) Sala. She moved in 1944 to West Hartford and in 1976 to Delray Beach, FL. Always a lady, Mary was admired and liked by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
She leaves her daughter Patricia and son-in-law, Dr. Steven J. Tishler; and nieces, Eleanor Sala Tamborini and Henrietta Sala Kipka. Mary was predeceased by her sister Grace; brothers, Louis, James and Carl "Red" Sala; her niece, Rachel D. Sala; nephew Carl James Sala; and great nephew Carl M. Tamborini.
Burial will be private at the Boca Raton Mausoleum, Boca Raton, FL.
An avid dog lover, Mary's favorite outing in the past year and a half was going to the Delray Dog Park. Memorial donations may be sent in Mary's name to Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, 103 Vision Way, Bloomfield, CT 06002.
