IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary A.
Vadnais
June 13, 1931 – August 2, 2018
Mary Antoinette Vadnais, 87, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Roland Joseph Vadnais, after 62 years of marriage. She is survived by her son, Victor Vadnais, and his wife, Susan, of Port St. Lucie, FL, daughter, Karen, and her husband, Keith, of Boynton Beach, FL, son, Roland Vadnais, of Winter Park, FL, daughter, Valeri, and her husband, Walt, of Lake Worth, FL, son, Marc Vadnais, of Coleman, FL, sister, Jane Fulvo, of Waterbury, CT, sister, Pauline Lemaitre, of Park City, UT, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mary's career was that of a quality supervisor, having worked for Anchor Fasteners in Connecticut, followed by an 18-year career with Motorola in Plantation, FL, and actually retiring from the Motorola facility in Boynton Beach, FL. She also spent some of her retirement years working part time in the box office at Boynton Cinema, always bringing a smile to the faces of the customers to whom she sold tickets. She enjoyed bowling and participated in league bowling for many years. Her favorite sport, though, was that of playing bingo and she was an expert at it, being able to play 15 to 20 cards at a time. We hope there is a great big bingo hall in Heaven! She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, having come from a family of two sisters and two brothers and also, having her own family of three sons and two daughters, which meant that summer picnics, family get-togethers, and holiday celebrations, always promised to have many family members in attendance. She was big on family tradition and one that we hope to continue will be to have our family get-together on Christmas Eve in the same way that her family did when she was growing up.
