Maryelyn Esmiegene Smith
Passed Peacefully at home in the early morning of December
26th, 2022 and went through to be with the lord at the age of
98 years old. Born St Ann, Jamaica on October 7, 1924.
Predeceased by her parents Etlyn Miller and Enos Henry, and
her husband of 40 years Leslie W Smith. His passing was in
November of 1990.

Survived by a brother, Uncle Ricky, her children Norman W
Smith, Sonia R Smith, Hugh A Smith, Leaford A Smith, Cecile
A Smith, and Marjorie A Smith, 22 grandchildren, and 27
great-grandchildren.

She spent most of her life as a seamstress and homemaker.
She came to the United States in the 60s and eventually
brought her children. She moved to Florida in 1990, after the
passing of her husband, to live with Sonia. She loved
gardening, being outside, cooking, and baking for friends and
family.
