Dear Family and Friends
Our Dearly Beloved Michael Gregory Kochanowsky, passed away at the age of twenty-four on Saturday, December 13th, 2014 at 1:43 a.m. in Lantana, Florida, of complications arising from double pneumonia.
The Memorial will be held at Boynton Memorial Chapel. 800 West Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach, FL 33426, Thursday, December 18th, 2014. Service Begins from 4:00 p.m. ending at 6:00 p.m. The eulogies commence at 5:00 p.m. with bagpipe band members performing before and after the eulogies.
The only child, Michael was born on September 23rd, 1990, in Boynton Beach, FL. He is survived by his Mother and Father, Betty and Greg Kochanowsky of Lantana, FL; His Uncles Bill West of Richmond VA, Gene and Paul Kochanowsky, Charles (Chuck) Boucher, Roger Bowers, and Philippe Boucher, all of FL; His Aunts, Marie Claire Boucher Bowers of Daytona Beach FL, Helene Boucher and Diane Boucher of Nashua, NH, Ann Scott of Highlands, NC, Julia Luttrell of Richmond, VA; and Cousin Mary Scott and many more cousins.
Michael was a graduate of the Royal Palm School, Lantana, Florida, Class of 2013. He regularly attended Greater Richmond Virginia ARC Camp Baker the past 5 years where he received "Best Happy Camper" recognition each time. He loved all the girls, gave the biggest hugs, and was always smiling and laughing – a cheeky boy.
Michael's favorite pastimes were enjoying many live concerts at the Cruzan Amphitheatre, Palm Beach County Fairgrounds, including Santana, Steve Miller, Steve Winwood, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, at Sunfest West Palm Beach and Hippyfest at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. He frequented the Lantana, FL Oktoberfest at the German American Club. He was a member of the Adult Day Center Exceptionalities in West Palm Beach, FL. He enjoyed eating all kinds of food, car rides while listening to music and traveling to near and distant places by train, plane or automobile.
Michael was very well known and popular in his community and at his Alma Mata Royal Palm School. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, teachers, faculty and administrators at school and all others that had the privilege to meet and know him.
