With love and sadness, we share that Pamela R. Klinger, Delray Beach, FL passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025. She was a compassionate, dedicated licensed mental health counselor LMHC who spent her life helping children and families, making an incredible impact through her work.
Pamela was born in Brielle, New Jersey, and spent much of her younger years enjoying life at the Jersey Shore. She graduated from Manasquan High School and later earned her degree from Monmouth University in New Jersey. She began her career working for the State of New Jersey, dedicating her time to improving mental health services for youths.
In 1990, she made the move to Florida, settling in Delray Beach, where she built a life filled with love and compassion. She worked at Father Flanigan's Boys Town in Jupiter, Florida, where she continued to support children and families in need. Eventually, Pamela fulfilled her dream of opening her own private practice in Lake Worth, Florida, providing guidance, support, and healing to those who needed it most.
Pamela had a deep love for animals, especially cats. She was a supporter of shelter pets, often donating to rescue organizations and adopted many furry friends throughout her life.
Married for 45 years she leaves behind her beloved husband Richard, her son, Robert Peters, his wife Jackie, and their children Pamala's grandchildren Hannah and Ryan. Pamela was also a true friend and stepmom to Debbie and her husband Kevin and a loving grandmother to their children Stefanie and Michael. She was preceded in passing by her stepson, Richard J. Klinger and had much love and pride for his children, Jason and Melissa.
She touched many lives with her warmth, wisdom, and humor. Pamela's legacy lives on in the love she shared and the impact she made on others.
