Obituary

Patsy A. Lupi of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2021 at the age of 98. Born in East Irvington, New York, he graduated from Irvington High School where he was an outstanding baseball player, pitching a no-hitter. A World War II veteran, he saw combat duty in France after landing at Omaha Beach, was shot twice by enemy fire and received the Purple Heart. Pat was honorably discharged with the rank of Sargent in 1946. A lifetime member of Pocantico Hook and Ladder, he was elected North Tarrytown Fire Chief in 1960. He retired from a career in construction and relocated to Florida in 1981.

Pat is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth, of 74 years and by his two sons and four grandchildren, Richard, his wife Christine, children Joshua and Taylor, David, his wife Phyllis, their children Ashley and Scott.

Pat will be laid to rest with military honors at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida at 1pm on Wednesday August 18, 2021.
