Obituary

On June 18, 2015 Patricia "Trish" Kahlert, was greeted by the loving embrace of her Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Born in Syracuse NY, on November 19, 1946 to parents, Thomas and Rose Murphy, one of 5 siblings, Trish moved as a younger girl to Pompano, and after attending Pompano Beach High School she became a Registered Nurse and later married Herb Kahlert before moving to Boynton Beach where she practiced at Bethesda Memorial Hospital, raised her children, and later moved Hypoluxo. They were blessed with two sons, Karl Alan who after 33 years preceded her to Heaven in 2004, and Hans-Christian who survives her.
Trish lived to love others and had a compassionate heart for every cute furry animal imaginable. She was seldom without a smile or word of encouragement for those she came in contact with. Trish loved Jesus, was proudly Born Again and fully understood his ultimate sacrifice for us and what that meant for the world. She quietly brought many to know of God's unwavering love. Her most treasured time was that spent in the company of her 2 Grandchildren, Kinsley (9) and Christian (6). To them she was adored and known as 'Gibbies" .
Preceded by her Father and two brothers Jerry and Terry. She is survived by her Mother, two sisters and brother-in-laws, Joanne and Ron Elias and Eileen and Bud Schulze of Lake Wales, FL. And several nieces and nephews
Trish bravely fought for nearly 2 years, never despairing that God had forsaken her. She was resolute to her last breath, knowing exactly where she would be after this life-made whole and with everlasting life surrounded by God's presence and reunited with her beloved son Karl, and other members of her family and friends. Trish's favorite scriptures are: Matthew 28:6, John 14:3, and of course John 3:16.

Family will receive friends at BOYNTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd. Boynton Beach from 5-8PM on Monday, June 22. A celebration of her life and passage into Heaven will take place 12:00PM on Tuesday at Spanish River Church, 2400 Yamato Road, Boca Raton where she attended for 30 years. Pastor Dan Meyer will be officiating.
