IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patrick James
Zangrilli
May 2, 1948 – January 19, 2025
Patrick James Zangrilli, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, at the age of 76.
Patrick will be remembered as someone who never met a stranger. His kind and caring nature left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Whether he was sharing a story or lighting up a room with his laughter, he was truly the heart and soul of every gathering.
Patrick's life was a celebration of passion, kindness, and joy. He was a true lover of red wine, savoring each glass as if it were a celebration of life itself. His career in the shoe industry was more than just a job—it was his life's work and a source of immense pride. A true "shoe dog," Patrick brought unmatched dedication and expertise to the industry, earning the respect of colleagues and customers alike. As a road warrior, he traveled extensively, forging countless friendships and leaving his mark wherever he went.
Patrick is survived by his devoted wife, Karen; his three sons, Anthony (Courtney), Michael (Rebecca), and David (Sara): his two cherished granddaughters, Isabella and Alexandra; and his brother, R. Duane (Cindy). He will also be remembered by countless friends who were touched by his warmth, humor, and generosity.
A celebration of Patrick's life will be held 11am on February 7, 2025, at Boynton Memorial Chapel, in Boynton Beach, Florida, with a luncheon to follow. A separate celebration will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on April 11, 2025, at 10am at St. Thomas More Church (Resurrection Parish), with a gathering to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to support melanoma research. Additionally, they encourage you to raise a glass of red wine and cheers to Patrick's memory, honoring the vibrant, caring, and vivacious man he was. He will be greatly missed.
