Paul Gerard Oates
Age 42 of Boynton Beach, FL passed away while working in Costa Rica on September 17, 2009. He was born in Teaneck, NJ on May 9, 1967. Paul loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He loved to laugh and was a big sports fan and there wasn't a sports statistic he didn't know. Our big teddy bear left us too soon and will be missed. Paul was predeceased by his father, Peter Oates.
He is survived by his mother, Dolores Oates; sister, Regina Oates Stenger; brother, Peter Oates; sister, Cara Oates; brother-in-law, James Stenger; sister-in-law, Lauren Oates; two nieces, Katrina and her husband Raul Rubiera and Nicolette Stenger; nephew, Sean Stenger; and his beloved dog, "Buddy".
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am, Saturday, September 26, 2009 at St. Edward's Catholic Church, Palm Beach, FL with the Rev. Frank Lechiara officiating. A visitation will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, Friday, September 25, 2009 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach, FL. Interment will take place at Boynton Beach Memorial Park.
