Rafael Alberto Meza attended Kossuth High, Corinth, MS, South Broward High, Hollywood, FL, Belhaven University, Jackson, MS, United States Marine Corps Service. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Caputo; his mother, Aida Helprin; sisters, Angela Meza (Gus) Perla, Lupe Dellinger, Maria Luisa Meza, Ana Lucia Meza (Adams family and children); nephews, Enrique Perla, Andrew (Carrie) Dellinger, Reid Dellinger; step-brother, Peter Helprin; step-sister, Mary Helprin. He is further survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Luis Rafael Meza Guirola; stepfather, Mr. Herbert Helprin; and brother-in-law, Dr. Greg Dellinger.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff who cared for Rafael at Bethesda West Baptist Hospital, Boynton Beach FL.
