Ray Beck, age 92, of Boynton Beach, FL, died September 14, 2016. Born on February 26, 1924, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Gehardus and Irene (Rowley) Beck. He was a member of the Quail Ridge Country Club, where he was a well-known resident. Ray lived a long and wonderful life.
He was proceeded in death by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn, in 2005. Survivors include his son Tim (Mary) Beck of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and one daughter, Nancy Stewart of Capitola, California, 8 grandchildren: Christopher Beck, Thomas Beck, Robert (Jill) Beck, Michael Beck, Molly Beck, Liz Stewart, John (Danielle) Stewart, Margaret (Michael) Maslanik, and one great granddaughter, Harper Stewart. Ray is also survived by his sister-in-law and companion, Margot Beck, her two children Ross (Susan) Kempes, Linda Kempes, and her three grandchildren Angela, John, and Ron.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016, from 4:00-4:45 pm with the service at 4:45 pm at the Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 West Boynton Beach Blvd, Boynton Beach 33426, with a reception for family and friends at the Quail Ridge Country Club. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trust Bridge Health (Hospice of Palm Beach County).
