Mr. Rogers, age 93, entered peacefully into rest Thursday, June 29, 2010. Ray was a kind, loving, peaceful man, constantly giving of himself to others and enjoyed life to its fullest. He was an avid golfer and lover of cars. Ray retired as a private pilot and flying instructor. Aviating was the real
love of his life.
He was predeceased by his wife Patricia Taylor Rogers. Survivors include stepchildren Brian Taylor and Kathy Taylor and granddaughters Sara Taylor, Maria White, Trisha Taylor, Megan Stone, Kate Parker, Donna Hodgens and Lauren Jones. Ray is also survived by his loving friend Monique Owens.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:00 AM Friday, August 13, 2010 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 6090 Hypoluxo Rd., Lantana, with interment to follow at the South Florida National Cemetery, State Road 7, Lake Worth.
