Richard Casimer Rusak, age 77, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026. Rick was born on September 16, 1948 in Newark, New Jersey to Casimer and Dorothy Rusak.

Rick and Mary Ann were married 52 years and built a life filled with love, joy and laughter. When he was not vacationing or fishing with his son Richard, he enjoyed gardening and tinkering around the house. Ricky was a Boy Scout Master for many years and encouraged all around him to find new ways to enjoy being outside.

After retiring to sunny South Florida, Rick returned to the outdoors full time. He enjoyed kayak fishing, sport fishing, photography, bocchi ball, playing cards and eating out with the guys.

Rick is survived by Mary Ann Rusak, Richard D. and Tracie Rusak, Ray and Debbie Rusak, Raymond and Anne Marie Lachenauer, Mark Lodato, Joseph Lodato, Pauline Ussia, and Chris Byrne. He was preceded in death by his parents Casmier and Dorothy Rusak, and his brother Ronald Rusak.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Boynton Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Emmanuel Catholic Church, Delray Beach.
