Obituary

Robert H. MacNeil, 83, of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2009 after a long illness.
He honorably served his country on a submarine in the Pacific during WWII. He was employed by the New England Telephone Company for 40 years, before retiring and moving to Florida. Robert was active in many civic and fraternal organizations: Past President of the Commodore's Club of America; Submarine Vets of WWII; US Submarine Vets, Inc; Sebring Elks Club; Telephone Pioneers; Boynton Beach Masonic Lodge #236 F. & A. M.; Amara Temple; Masonic Square Club; Shriners Club; Scottish Rite; and O.E.S. of Boynton Beach. He was a wonderful, loving, and caring husband and father. Robert is survived by his beloved wife Marge; loving children Karen, Bill (Kim), and Scott (Kathy); cherished grandchildren Emma, Kirk, Chad, Kody, and Paige; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 3:00pm at the Boynton Beach Masonic Lodge, 2701 Quantum Blvd. (& Gateway Blvd), Boynton Beach, FL 33426.
