Bob was born on September 15, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Roy Olson and Lucinda (nee Buechel).  He left the cold weather to spend his adult life in South Florida living in Pompano Beach. He worked for Dade County Schools and after retirement was very active in t he Course in Miracles and 12 Step programs making lifelong friends in all groups.  His hobbies included ping pong, fishing, gardening, and playing cards especially cribbage.  He found the love of his life in Diane Smith and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Bob's amazing spirit is cherished by his partner, Diane Smith, and her family.  He is survived and loved by his sisters, Sandralee Hutcheson and Rose Klitgaard (Andrew), his nephew Dean Hutcheson (Linda), and nieces Leann McKune (Joseph), and Andrea Hoffman (Swen) and their children.  He is further survived by other relative and friends.

As the Course in Miracles teaches, "Nothing real can be threatened.  Nothing unreal exists.  Herein lies the peace of God."  In lieu of funeral services, Bob's ashes will return to the earth amongst all the things he loved.
