Obituary
Bob was born in Brooklyn, New York to Betty and Oswald Sarra where he grew up loving the New York Yankees, music and good food! He attended Villanova University and he loved Manhattan and Long Island where he met his first wife Ellen, had 3 children and raised them in West Islip until moving to Florida in 1977. Bob always knew he would end up in Florida and loved it as much as he loved New York. In Florida, he worked in the automobile industry where he started new dealerships with family and provided first rate management in different parts of the dealership. Bob remarried in 1991 to Adele Schecter who he is survived by and remained married until his death.
Of Bob's great loves in life there were none more important to him than his children. He is survived by his daughter, Robin and her husband, Mark (aka The third son), his son, Robert Sarra, Jr. and his wife Tracy Sarra, his son, Kenneth Sarra and his fiancé Donna Acierno. Bob was blessed with many grandchildren and is survived by Jonathan Sarra, Hayley Sarra, Robert Sarra III, Sydney Weaver, Robert Michael Sarra, Nancy Sarra and his great grandson, Jonathan Jackson Sarra.
Bob Sarra was an incredible man with a huge heart and those that knew him knew they had a friend for life. He will be sorely missed as we loved him with all our hearts. A wake will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Boynton Memorial Chapel between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Boynton Memorial Chapel is located at 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach, FL 33426. There will be a Catholic Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Friday, October 12, 2018. St. Thomas More is located at 10935 S. Military Trail, Boynton Beach, FL 33436.
