Age 86, of Clayton, NY and Boynton Beach, FL died July 11, 2015. He was born in Watertown, NY to Frank and Stella (Leavery) Smith. He retired from NY Bell and Bell South as a phone repair installer in 1986. He had a winter home in Boynton Beach, FL and a summer home at Masons Point in Clayton, NY.
He is survived by a sister Mary Jane Briggs and brother in law Joseph Briggs; two daughters, Susan A. Weeks and her significant other, Frederick Mannara and his children Julie, James and Matt Mannara, and Sarah J. Buckley and her husband John; and grandchildren, John Buckley Jr. and his wife Jennifer and their children Kyleigh and Maeson and granddaughter, Amiee Sykes her husband Greg and their children Lilley and London.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Saturday, July 25, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Clayton, NY followed by a reception at the American Legion Post 821, Clayton, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the America Legion Post 821, Clayton, NY 13624.
