Obituary

Rosalie Marie DiMaiuta was a devoted and beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. Everyone who met her were very fond of her and has their own unique experience and version of this devotion. She was full of life and joy. She was passionate and creative. She loved music (especially Rod Stewart and Fleetwood Mac), cruises, and wine.

She made friends with everyone she crossed paths with, including coworkers, neighbors, the bank teller, the travel agent, even her daughter’s work friends who she only knew through Instagram.

She was a caregiver and a selfless protector of her family and friends. She fiercely loved her husband, Nick. She called her children “Favorite Son” and “Favorite Daughter.” She loved her four grandchildren more than anything in the world. She baked with Aria, bought toy cars for Dallas, sprayed painted her hair pink with Lucy and always spoke to Kyle about how proud she was of his grades in school. She loved her son-in-law, often interrupting her daughter to speak with him. She loved her daughter-in-law like a daughter of her own. She had a special bond with her brother, Carl, and loved seeing him and his whole family.

Rosalie is survived by her husband, Nick; daughter, Regina; son, Adam; brother, Carl; grandchildren, Kyle, Lucy, Aria, and Dallas; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Antoinette Graffeo. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to one of her favorite charities, the Parkinson’s Foundation.
