At a very early age Rose showed interest of striving for the American dream. She soon reached that dream by marrying an American born Italian at the young age of sixteen. However, after twenty-three short years she was suddenly widowed. Due to the fact that her parents and most of her siblings remained in Italy, she brought forward her four children on her own in a country where she had not yet mastered the language and had to now adjust to her new role as head of the household. Rose quickly found a means of survival by using her innovative ways and soon began buying and selling real estate. She also mastered the art of sewing and worked as a seamstress in Jersey City, NJ. Remaining faithful to her one and only true love and overcoming many tragedies in her life time, she has stood as a remarkable woman throughout it all. We commend her life, courage and wisdom. She is our rock and our inspiration. Rose loved to garden and most of all took great pride in watching her loved ones enjoy her cooking and baking. You may say that these are all key ingredients to her successful longevity, along with the continuous love and support of her family and friends that surrounded her and her unfailing sense of faith in God!
