Salvatore Terrase, age 96, died of natural causes on October 15, 2017 at his home in Lantana, Florida.

He is survived by his wife Lillian of 71 years; his daughters Rosemary Lauria and Susan Tartaglia; and his five grandchildren: Adam, Evan, and Matthew Tartaglia, Jillian Duplissis, and Joseph Lauria. He has six great-grandchildren: Collin and Zachary Duplissis, and Adriana, Catalina, Giada and Mila Tartaglia.

Salvatore was born on December 22, 1920 in Manhattan, NY. He worked in real estate, insurance and financial services for over 50 years. Salvatore was a man of strong ethical convictions with extreme integrity. He was a loving and dedicated husband to Lillian. The couple was married on January 6, 1946.

Salvatore was a very social and active man, who was deeply involved in music for the majority of his life. He enjoyed singing and playing the piano for his family as well as performing onstage during numerous events throughout his life. His family and friends will always remember him as a strong, passionate man with a zest for life and family.

Visitation will be at Boynton Memorial Chapel in Boynton Beach on Wednesday, October 18th, from 2-5 PM; a funeral will follow at 11:30 AM on Thursday, October 19th at St. Thomas More Church in Boynton Beach.
